TEMPE – Back on the road fresh off of a season-high score at home, No. 20 Sun Devil Gymnastics will travel to take on Stanford this Friday at 6:30 p.m. PST/7:30 p.m. MST.

Sun Devil Outlook
No. 20 Arizona State (3-4, 0-2 Pac-12)
  • The Sun Devils are coming off of a third-place finish to No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 2 Cal at home last Friday. In the meet, the team earned a season-high 197.250, the first time eclipsing 197 this season. 
  • Not only was the team score a season high, but the team also got season highs on bars (49.225), beam (49.425), and floor (49.325). The streak of meets in a row with a 49-plus on vault is now up to 15, extending the program record. The bars streak is up to 14 now, with the record being 19 in a row.
  • Senior Emily White is the reigning Pac-12 Coaches Choice of the Week, Arizona State's first weekly award of the season. White scored 9.9s on both beam and floor. She has scored a 9.900 on floor three times this season.
  • In the all-around, senior Jada Managhas continues to rise. She notched a career-high 9.925 on beam, helping her earn a personal best in the all-around with a 39.425.
  • On vault, senior Anaya Smith has been strong to start the year. Last week, she earned a 9.950, matching her personal best. She has notched a 9.900 or better in three meets this season. Additionally, she has three vault titles to her name in 2024, most recently winning on Friday.
Opponent Outlook
Stanford (1-5, 1-1 Pac-12)
  • The Cardinal are fresh off of their first win, beating Washington at home on Monday with a season-high 196.875. 
  • In 2023, the team went to NCAA Regionals and came up short of advancing to the regional finals. 
  • Arizona State and Stanford are neck and neck in the all-time series, with ASU trailing 19-20. Last season, the Sun Devils fell at home to the Cardinal, snapping a four-meet winning streak over Stanford.
