TEMPE -- Sun Devil Lacrosse (5-11, 3-6 Pac-12) returns to Tempe for their regular season finale against No. 20 USC Trojans (13-3, 8-1 Pac-12) on Friday, April 28 at 3:00 p.m. MST. Prior to the first draw, Arizona State will honor its 2023 seniors. Friday's game is featured on ASU Live Stream-2 and live stats can be found on Statbroadcast.

LAST TIME OUT

The Sun Devils split their non-conference matchups in last weekend's slate. The 12-15 loss to San Diego State featured a new career high for Tate Stokesberry, who scored four goals. Six different Sun Devils scored including a hat trick by graduate Greta Stahl. 

Sunday's matchup against UC Davis saw different results. The Sun Devils secured a 16-11 victory over UC Davis with a seven point day by Teagan Ng. Mina Scott tallied a hat trick and four Sun Devils scored two goals apiece.

OPPONENT OUTLOOK
Trojans
The USC Trojans claimed at least a share of the Pac-12 Regular Season Title for the fourth time in program history after their 10-5 win against the Ducks last weekend. This matchup will be decisive for the conference, as the Trojans can claim sole possession of the Pac-12 regular season title. Junior Maggie Brown leads USC in goals with 33. Redshirt Sophomore Isabelle Vitale leads the team in points with 56 points on 27 assists.


SENIORS
The Sun Devils say good-bye to their team manager Talia Massi, goalkeeper Lindsey Spies, midfielder Kaylon Buckner, midfilelder Brynn Holohan, attacker Anna Winkeler and attacker Katie Brodsky.

NOTABLES 
  • Buckner leads the Sun Devils in goals (31), points (39), free position goals (9), shots on goal (63) and free position shots (22). Buckner has surpassed 200 career draw controls and became the Sun Devil's all-time draw control leader. Buckner is first in draw controls (66).

  • Kaylon Buckner, Mina Scott, Teagan Ng, Bella Gaspar, Colleen Ryan, Zoe Mazur and Gigi Gaspar have all played and started in the sixteen games this season.

  • 18 different Sun Devils have scored this season with Kaylon Buckner (31), Mina Scott (29) and Teagan Ng (27) leading the pack.

  • Mina Scott leads the Sun Devils in goals scored during conference play with 18. Just behind her is Kaylon Buckner (17), Katie Brodsky (14), Teagan Ng (12) with Berit Brookfield and Bella Ingrao each clocking in with 10.

  • Year of First Goals - Claire Beucher, Keeley Cleland, Jordyn Behar, Alexa Ford, Kaitlyn Skamas, Tate Stokesberry, Annie Haley, McKenna Riley, Teagan Ng, Lydia Oldknow, Greta Stahl, Anna Thornton and Berit Brookfield have all seen the back of the net for the first time as a Sun Devil.

  • Goalkeeper Katie Vahle leads the team in ground balls (25), ahead of Helen Park (22), Gigi Gaspar (21), Kaylon Bucker (20), and Bella Gaspar (13).

  • Teagan Ng leads all freshmen in goals (27) and has 34 points on the season. Ng has scored in 13 of 16 games for the Sun Devils.

  • Katie Vahle has reached a new career record tonight against the Aztecs, reaching 300 for her career.

  • Mina Scott broke her single season goal record against Colorado (4/16), she now has 26 on the season.

  • Mina Scott, Berit Brookfield, Annie Haley and Teagan Ng each have scored game winning goals.

  • Buckner reached 100 career points against Towson (2/26) where she scored two goals. Scored points in 13/14 games, goals in 12/14 games as well.

  • Goalkeepers Flynn Murphy and Vahle have both seen time in the net this season.

  • The Sun Devils have outscored their opponents in free position shots, 19-13.

  • ASU has a 93.5% clear percentage rate, which is good for second in the nation behind North Carolina. ASU opponents are having more trouble, with 89.5%. 

  • The Sun Devils are 39th overall in draw controls with 199 in 14 games played.

  • Out for the season due to injury - Maddie Riley, McKenna Riley and Lexi Guerin.
