QUOTES
Arizona State Head Coach Bob Bowman
On long course events:
"We do, particularly this year, the Olympic year came up quickly this time, only three years in the last, so we want to do as much long course racing as we can. We do as much long course training as we can. It also just develops them as an athlete, it's more demanding and the more we do in the long pool, the better they are in the short pool."

On it being their third meet:
"Well, I think that it just gives you, you just don't really know the rhythm of racing as well. It's been a while and we've had a couple of shots to kind of hone in on some things, but I thought they did a great job. Their skills were great they always are, they had great speed when they needed it. But I think that's the difference is you just have a little more sharpness after you've done a couple of them because you know the rhythm of it better internally."

On how proud he was of his womens group today:
"I loved the womens meet today. By far, the best meet we've had since I've been here. They're stepping up every time we're winning some events, we're fighting these guys and they are a great team. So I couldn't be happier with them and I think this will just give us some more confidence as we move into the next meeting."

Graduate Swimmer Jack Dolan
On 400 free relays:
"It's been good. Relays this year are really good, relays have had really strong starts. So hopefully we can keep it going."

On swimming long course events:
"It'll be good for us. It's nice to do long course throughout the year during an Olympic year so you can carry that momentum into the summer."

Sophomore Swimmer Ieva Maluka
On performance today:
"I would not have been able to do that last relay without everyone cheering me on and everyone was doing so great. We just keep pushing and getting better."

On staying lock in to end 400 free relay:
"You stay grounded and just be grateful for your teammates. You listen to them cheering you on and remember you're doing this for your team and just have fun with it."
