TEMPE – Sun Devil Men's and Women's Swim and Dive swept UNLV in their third meet of the season at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.
The Sun Devils won 28 events at home in Sun Devil Swim and Dive's first sweep of the 2023-24 season.

Women's 400 Yard Medley Relay
The Sun Devils opened the meet sweeping the event as they finished first, second and third. The relay of Brown-Summar-Looney-Milligan won the event with Edwards-Adame-Foelske-Batchelor finishing second and the squad of Clayson-McMahon-Marty-Lovberg taking third.
Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay
The Sun Devil men won their first event of the day with the relay of Kós-Marchand-Kharun-SencSamardzic winning the race and Wadsworth-Heaphy-Colson-Peel taking third.
Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle
Deniz Ertan won the race with a time of 9:38.18 for the sophomore. Freshmen Alexa Reyna and Lia Csulak each took second and third respectively.
Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle
Daniel Matheson wins the fourth event title in as many events to start the day for the Sun Devils as he wins this race with a time of 9:08.18. Fellow junior Dylan Gravley took second with a time of 9:09.02 and Jake Mason took third with a time of 9:10.51.
Women's 200 Yard Freestyle
Ieva Maluka won her first race of the afternoon with a time of 1:45.97. Molly Batchelor and Elli Straume finished in second and third place for the Sun Devils to finish 1-2-3.
Men's 200 Yard Freestyle
Owen McDonald won the event as he raced a 1:33.83 and Julian Hill was second with a time of 1:35.12 along with Ilya Kharun taking third.
Women's 100 Yard Backstroke
Charli Brown takes first with a time of 54.20 and graduate Athena Clayson was second with a 54.85.
Men's 100 Yard Backstroke
Jack Dolan gets the win in this event with a time of 46.30.
Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke
Zoe Summar won the event with a time of 1:00.77 and Iza Adame was not far behind in second with a time of 1:00.83.

Dobrzanski took second and Heaphy was third with Dobrzanski timing a 53.72 and Heaphy with a 53.95.
Women's 200 Yard Butterfly
Looney won the 200 fly with a time of 1:55.97 and Jade Foelske took third with a time of 1:59.40.

In his first individual event of the day, Marchand won this event with a time of 1:39.65. Alex Colson was second with a 1:45.06 and Parker Reynolds was third with a time of 1:49.57.
Women's 50 Yard Freestyle
The Sun Devil went 1-2-3 as Milligan won the event with a time of 22.82 and Indigo Armon took second with a time of 23.05 and Marte Lovberg was third with a time of 23.38.
Men's 50 Yard Freestyle
Kulow picked up the win with a time of 19.34 and Peel was third with a time of 19.89.
Women's 100 Yard Freestyle
Milligan wins her second event of the day with a time of 49.38. Ieva Maluka took second with a 49.55 and Molly Batchelor was third with a 50.01.

Ertan wins her second distance event of the day with a time of 4:43.52. Reyna was second with a time of 4:47.65.

Kharun won this event with a time of 4:21.47 for the freshman. Julian Hill was second clocking in a 4:23.07 and McDonald was third with a time of 4:26.51.

Marchand, like Brown, won his third event of the day in this event as he swam a 3:37.96. Kós was second with a time of 3:45.38 and Schlicht was third swimming a 3:50.37.
Women's 200 Yard Free Relay
The Sun Devil women went 1-2 as the relay of Armon-Milligan-Batchelor-Maluka finished first with a 1:30.87 and the squad of Looney-Lovberg-Vaughan-Straume went second with a time of 1:32.43.
Men's 200 Yard Free Relay
The squad of Dolan-Kulow-Peel-Kharun won this relay with a time of 1:16.10 and the relay of Sammon-SencSamardzic-Behar-Osterndrof were third swimming a 1:19.62.
Diving Results
In the women's 3 meter event, freshman Kayden Hayes was second with a score of 264.23 and senior Ashlyn Kirsch was fourth with a 246.08 along with freshman Vera Brewer's fifth place finish with a score of 237.45.
The Sun Devil men went 1-2-3 in the 3 meter as Thomas Wesche was first with a score of 315.68, Zachory Lundgren in second with a 311.78 and Caleb Liban rounding out the top three with a score of 283.58.
In the women's 1 meter event, Amayah Wiley took second with a score of 245.78 with Hayes and Kirsch rounding out the top four.
Lundgren won the men's 1 meter with a score of 305.78 with Wesche finishing second.

"Thank you, I've known since January it's been a while and we just celebrated with the family there, and had a lot of friends and former swimmers there, so it was fun in Fort Lauderdale this weekend."
On emotions hearing about the induction:
"It's very humbling right, we start thinking back on some of the stuff that's happened, it's been pretty amazing and thats the most important parts of the journey. There are a lot of the outcomes were pretty good. So it's kind of fun of rethink those and kind of revisit those and share a lot, particularly with Michael who was also inducted. That was two weeks ago."
On energy before the meet:
"I felt like today was quite good. You know what we really talked about before the meet was we have to swim to our standard all the time, regardless of the conditions , the competition, and who's in the pool, we need to swim that standard. We did quite well with that today, our relays were excellent. Our women were right off what we swam at Pac-12 last year. I'm super happy with that last relay. The women and the men's the second off our team relay, which is a very good relay, one of the best in history. So I think we stepped it up through the whole meet. We had some quality swims. Some people obviously like every meet have times where they don't do as well and there are things to work on and some people did quite well. So I thinkin general it was a solid meet."

"I was working really hard this past week, and the past two weeks so I was really ready to do my best. The event that I did was really tough but I think I did a great job. It felt just like practicing."

"I mean, we've improved a lot has been, so I've been working a lot on my crooked breast, I've been going at a higher tempo."

"I definitely think the first goal for myself is to improve the little things. I think this week at practice we all worked so hard, But now I know I need to focus on the details of my stroke and technique and if do that every time and that's how I'm going to get the goals that we accomplish."

"I knew I was doing well. I was doing my own thing in my lane and I was just racing very hard and when I touched the wall, I thought it was a good time."

"Not breathing the first stroke off the wall. That really slows me down and the 500 free, I haven't swam that race in like two years so I'm still working on that."
