Sun Devil Outlook
Arizona State (7-5, 4-3 Pac-12)
- The Gym Devils got it done again last weekend, upsetting then-No. 11 Oregon State to give the Beavers their first conference loss. This was ASU's best team score of the season: a 197.725, the third-straight 197-plus for the Sun Devils. That score is also the ninth-highest in program history.
- The team made a huge jump in the floor NQS. Last week, ASU was No. 22. After a season-high 49.575 in the last meet, the Sun Devils moved up to No. 13.
- Arizona State is making its third trip to Norman in three seasons. After an away meet at Oklahoma in 2021, ASU went to the Norman Regional last season for NCAA Regionals. The Gym Devils came in fourth in the second session of the second round.
- Senior Hannah Scharf won her second-straight Pac-12 Coaches Choice of the Week on Tuesday. In the all-around against OSU, Scharf put up another major score with a 39.625, tying her number in the last meet for the 15th-highest all-around score in ASU history. On floor, she tied her career high with a 9.950, which was her fifth-straight score of 9.9-plus on floor, three of which have been 9.950s. She won the floor title with this score. On vault, Scharf also won an event title by matching her personal best of 9.900, which is a season high.
- Head coach Jay Santos has brought the program to new heights in his seven seasons in Tempe. Aside from his first season, he has led the team to a 196-plus NQS and a top-25 ranking at the end of every season since. There had never been a streak longer than two-consecutive seasons with the NQS over that mark prior to his tenure. This season, the team is poised to end the year with an NQS over 197 for just the third season in program history, the second under Santos.

- The Sooners were undefeated on the year until their last meet when they fell in a close meet at No. 2 Michigan. The meet before that was against previous No. 2 Florida, Oklahoma coming away with the win in Norman. The team has 10 wins over ranked opponents this season.
- This is the fourth-straight season where ASU is meeting Oklahoma in the regular season. Last year, the Sooners came to Tempe, winning a tri-meet with the Sun Devils and the Boise State Broncos.
