TEMPE – The No. 15 Gym Devils are riding high after getting their best true road score in program history and are ready to face No. 11 Oregon State for Senior Day in Tempe on Saturday March 4 at 3 p.m. MST.

No. 15 Arizona State (6-5, 3-3 Pac-12)
- The Gym Devils are fresh off of getting their best true road score of 197.475 against Washington last Sunday. It was their second 197-plus in a row, as well as seventh-consecutive 196-plus. The team won four event titles in the meet. Senior Hannah Scharf won the all-around, junior Anaya Smith won vault, junior Cienna Samiley won bars, and junior Emily White won beam.
- The team jumped seven spots in the Road to Nationals rankings after two big team scores last week. In the most recent rankings, the Gym Devils went from No. 22 to No. 15 in the National Qualifying Score (NQS). The team elevated in event rankings as well, jumping at least seven spots in each event, the biggest jump coming on vault from No. 28 to No. 18.
- After two big all-around scores last week, Scharf jumped up to No. 14 (39.480) on Road to Nationals in the all-around from No. 23. She also moved up to No. 22 on floor in the nation. She was named the Pac-12 Coaches Choice of the Week this week, ASU's second weekly award. On Monday of last week, she also was named a finalist for the AAI Award. She won four event titles last week: two in the all-around, one on bars and one on floor. Between the two meets, she did not score below a 9.875. In the last four meets, she has not scored below a 9.900 on floor and has not scored below a 9.800 in any event in five meets. On the year, she has 10 scores of 9.9-plus.
- Another solid all-around competitor for the Sun Devils is junior Emily White. She is ranked No. 24 in the all-around (39.400). A strong presence on all four events, she has scored a 9.8-plus on all four events in the last week. She has not scored below a 9.800 on bars and beam. This year, she has eight scores of 9.9-plus.
- In addition to Scharf, seniors Jordyn Jaslow and Gracie Reeves have been consistent competitors. Jaslow has been in the floor lineup all season, scoring a career-high 9.900 three times. She also has been on vault three times. Reeves has competed on vault and beam in every meet, as well as bars for all but one. Last week, she scored a season-high 9.875 on bars.
- The junior class has been coming through for the team as event specialists. On vault, Anaya Smith has scored two 9.9s in a row and has a 9.950 to her name this season. She has three vault titles this season. On bars, Cienna Samiley is coming off of her first event title with a career-high 9.925 at Washington. A steady presence on bars, beam and floor is Sarah Clark, who has not scored below a 9.800 in four meets. The anchor on bars, she has four titles on that event this season.
- Arizona State has two wins over ranked teams this season: then-No. 24 BYU and then-No. 4 Utah.
Opponent Outlook
No. 11 Oregon State (10-3-2, 3-0-2 Pac-12)
- The Beavers have won or tied every meet since January 21, most recently winning at Stanford last weekend. In that meet, OSU scored a new program record 198.075.
- Sophomore Jade Carey has been named Pac-12 Gymnast of the Week for three-straight weeks. She has six to her name this season. Last week, she had perfect 10s on bars and floor.
- Last season, OSU won the matchup against ASU in Corvallis. The last time the Beavers came to Tempe in 2021, the Gym Devils came away with the win.
