TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Women's Basketball head coach Natasha Adair has added a third assistant to her coaching staff with the hiring of Camille Collier, the program announced Thursday.
Collier spent the past season with Virginia Tech as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, helping the Hokies to a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, the highest in program history. She also devised scouting reports for opposing teams and cultivated recruiting strategies to attract prospective student-athletes.
Before joining the Hokies, spent a pair of seasons at both Hofstra University and Radford University as an assistant coach at each stop. With Radford in 2019, Collier and the Highlanders were Big South Regular Season Champions and Big South Tournament Champions en route to an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
At the 2018 NCAA Women's Final Four, Collier was named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) Thirty Under 30 list, which highlights up-and-coming women's coaches across the sport.
Collier has vast experience as a recruiting coordinator, organizing and implementing strategies at both Hofstra, Radford and Jacksonville University, where she was an assistant coach specializing in recruiting from 2013-17. She joined the coaching ranks in the fall of 2012, as a graduate manager at Georgia State.
Prior to a career on the sideline, Collier enjoyed a four-year stint playing for Wake Forest University, where she emerged as a veteran leader for the Demon Deacons. She also landed on the All ACC Honor Roll in each of her four seasons.
Collier is the third assistant to join Adair's staff, alongside Mykala Walker and Darrell Mosley after Bob Clark and Carter Caplan filled the roles of Special Assistant to the Head Coach and Director of Women's Basketball Operations, respectively.
