TEMPE – Sun Devil Men's Tennis will welcome San Diego to Tempe on Sunday at 1 p.m. The match can be viewed on the ASU Live Stream. Attendance is free and open to the public. ASU has lost four in a row, but they are looking to get back to their winning ways against the 1-1 Toreros.

The Sun Devils were not able to win any matches at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. They fell 4-0 to No. 5 Ohio State and 4-3 to NorthWestern. Although they were not able to put up any points against OSU, ASU was making a comeback when they played Northwestern with doubles duos Jacob Bullard/Murphy Cassone and George Stoupe/Mortiz Hoffman defeating their Wildcat opponents. In singles competition, only Nicola Cigna and George Stoupe were able to record wins.
Scouting the Toreros
San Diego is standing at 1-1 after defeating UC Irvine 6-1 on January 21st but losing to No. 16 Arizona Friday afternoon. On January 21, San Diego's No. 1 August Holmgren was defeated by UCI's Emmanuel Coste. In the rest of the singles matches against UCI, the Toreros were able to come out on top. In the doubles competition, San Diego was able to take two of three from the Anteaters.

After hosting the Toreros, the Sun Devils will travel to Malibu, California to take on Pepperdine (Feb. 11), followed by the ITA National Team Indoors (Feb. 18-21) in Seattle.
