TEMPE, Ariz. – Head Coach Petra Pardi's final addition to the coaching staff has been solidified, as Ethan D'Souza was announced today as an Assistant Coach. He joins Pardi and Sandra Kiss in Tempe, and brings over a decade of coaching experience to the staff, most recently as the general manager of Surrey Water Polo Club in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Head Coach of the Canadian Junior Women's National Team.

"I am super excited for Ethan to join and round out our staff! He's young, but he brings a ton of experience coaching at a high level and internationally as well," praised Pardi.

D'Souza notes his excitement for this new venture, "I would like to thank Petra Pardi and the Sun Devil Athletics leadership for this incredible opportunity. ASU is a storied program in the most impressive conference for NCAA women's water polo, and I am ecstatic to join the coaching staff and hope to bring continued success to such a reputable program."

His nearly eight years with Team Canada has been highlighted by multiple podium finishes, as he started with Team Canada in 2015; D'Souza has been a member of the Canada age group National Team coaching staff ever since. During his time in the coaching circuit, D'Souza coached two incoming Sun Devils, Katherine Featherstone and Ashley Ferguson. He also coached Sun Devil graduates Blaire McDowell and Emma Fraser.

The 2021 University of Regina graduate has a degree in sport management, but in the years leading up to college, he served as head coach for the Coquitlam Lions, Coquitlam Sharks, and Pacific Storm water polo clubs.
