Final Home Matches This Week

TEMPE, ARIZ. – Sun Devil Volleyball will close out the regular season in front of the home crowd, facing Utah on Wednesday at 2 p.m. MST before taking on in-state rival Arizona on Saturday at 4 p.m. MST.

Fan Information 
Wednesday's match will be the Title IX Celebration game, with the team debuting new uniforms. Saturday's match is senior day and a Gold Out, encouraging fans to wear gold as we go for the other half point in the Territorial Cup Series.

Senior Day
On Saturday prior to the match against the Wildcats, Sun Devil Volleyball will celebrate four student-athletes that will be wrapping up their playing careers in Tempe: Brooke Boiseau, Annika Larson-Nummer and Shannon Shields. 

Sun Devil Outlook
Arizona State (12-18, 6-12 Pac-12)

• The Sun Devils split over the weekend, falling to No. 8 Stanford in four sets before beating Cal in five. The win against the Bears completed the season sweep, extending ASU's win streak against Cal to four in a row. 
• Against in-state rival Arizona, ASU is going for the season sweep after winning the first match earlier this year in Tucson. A win would also give the Sun Devils the full point in the Territorial Cup Series.
• Iman Isanovic has continued to move up in the ASU record book, as the senior's 29 combined kills over the weekend moved her into eighth place all-time in Sun Devil history for career kills. She is 26 kills away from seventh place, currently owned by Valentina Vega (1982-83, 85-86).
• Marta Levinska ran the show against Cal with a career-high 25 kills. Levinska has reached 20-plus kills in three matches this season. Levinska led the team in kills in both matches over the weekend. She is 32 kills away from 1,000 career kills. 
• Jeter has the chance to reach 100 total blocks on the season, currently standing at 93 to lead the team. In her two years as a Sun Devil, Jeter has garnered 208 total blocks, cementing her as a force near the net. As a team, ASU had 10 blocks against Cal, led by Claudia Stahlke's seven.
• Though an outside hitter, sophomore Geli Cyr has seen time at libero in the last three matches, starting in that position for the first time in her career against Cal. She is second on the team in total digs with 235, behind senior Annika Larson-Nummer's 270. Sophomore Jaden Ravnsborg also made an appearance at libero, matching her personal best of 21 digs in the win at Cal. On the season, she's third on the team in total digs with 223.
• While setter Shannon Shields has split time with Ella Snyder, Shields has maintained her spot as the primary setter. She leads the team with 572 assists on the year.

Opponent Outlook
Utah (15-14, 8-10 Pac-12)

• Last weekend, Utah traveled to Washington, where it faced two top-25 teams in No. 25 Washington State and No. 21 Washington. The Utes took losses in both, getting swept in the two matches.
• This will be the one time ASU plays Utah in the 2022 season. ASU has a 14-20 series record against Utah. Last season, the Sun Devils took the win in four sets in Salt Lake City, head coach Sanja Tomasevic's first win at Utah and snapped a nine-match losing streak to the Utes.

Arizona (15-14, 5-13 Pac-12)

• Arizona went to the Bay Area this past weekend to split, taking the win at Cal in a 3-2 match and losing in a sweep against No. 8 Stanford.
• ASU kicked off 2022 conference play with a 3-1 victory over Arizona. Isanovic led all players in kills with 18, adding 12 digs for a double-double. Levinska followed right behind with 17 kills, and Cyr reached 15 kills, her career high.
• The Sun Devils have the chance to even out the overall series record with a win. It currently stands at 55-54, with Arizona holding the advantage.
