SAN FRANCISCO - No. 3 Jacori Teemer has earned the third Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week honor of his career, the conference announced Monday. Teemer defeated No. 21 Elijah Cleary of Pitt 6-2 Friday, and followed that with a 4-3 decision over No. 11 Quincy Monday of Princeton Sunday morning, moving to 10-0 on the year. He's the third Sun Devil to pick up the honor this season following Michael McGee and Cohlton Schultz in November.

Against Cleary, Teemer was firmly in control from start to finish and didn't give up a point until the third period. His victory came by a pair of takedowns, an escape, and his riding bonus, while Cleary earned just two escapes.

In the second marquee match of the ASU/Princeton dual, Teemer and Monday kept things close. Their match featured a lot of circling, hand fights, and a scoreless first period. Monday opened scoring in the second period with a reversal before Teemer got an escape, the score 2-1 heading into the final frame. With Teemer starting on the bottom, he opened with an escape before shooting for a big takedown that would go on to give him the victory despite an escape from Monday and stall warning on the Sun Devil. ASU went on to lose the dual 20-18.

ASU hits the road again this weekend with duals at Cal Poly (Friday, 8 p.m. MST) and CSU Bakersfield (Sunday, 3 p.m.).
