PRINCETON, New Jersey - Arizona State dropped the second dual of the weekend Sunday with a 20-18 loss to #18/21 Princeton. Michael McGee and Cohlton Schultz both earned major decisions, while No. 3 Jacori Teemer topped No. 11 Quincy Monday. Teemer and No. 6 Anthony Valencia remain perfect on the year with 10-0 and 12-0 records, while No. 4 Brandon Courtney's undefeated streak ended with a loss to No. 2 Patrick Glory. ASU is on the road again next weekend with matches at Cal Poly and CSU Bakersfield.

How it happened
125: Pat Glory (PRIN) over Brandon Courtney (ASU) (Dec 12-6)
Glory took control early and never let up. He opened with a takedown and followed with a two-point nearfall in the first to go up 4-1 in the first. A four-point near and T2 in the middle frame put the Tiger up 10-2, and he topped out at 12 points thanks to a pair of escapes in the final period after two takedowns from Courtney.

133: Michael McGee (ASU) over Nicholas Masters (PRIN) (TF 18-2 3:53)
If there's one thing Michael McGee has it's speed. He was lights out from the start, stringing together three takedowns and three nearfalls in the first period to take a huge 16-2 lead on Masters. A final takedown at the start of the second period gave the Devil his four tech of the season.

141: Daniel Coles (PRIN) over Cleveland Belton (ASU) (Dec 8-7)
Cleveland Belton hung close in the dual of his ASU career. He opened with a takedown and two-point nearfall before allowing an escape and takedown to close the first period ahead 4-3. Belton and Coles circled each other for most of the middle frame, but Coles took the lead with a reversal. A Belton escape had the score at an even 5-5 heading to the final period where Belton looked like he was going to take the W after a takedown midway through, but Coles escaped and took Belton to the mat in the final seconds to get the win.

149: Kyle Parco (ASU) over Marshall Keller (PRIN) (Dec 5-1)
Parco came out on top in an uncharacteristically slow-tempoed match. All the points were scored ijn the first two periods, with Parco getting a pair of takedowns and an escape to Keller's lone escape.

157: Jacori Teemer (ASU) over Quincy Monday (PRIN) (Dec 4-3)
In the second marquee match of the day Jacori Teemer and Quincy Monday kept things close. Their match featured a lot of circling, hand fights, and a scoreless first period. Monday opened scoring in the second with a reversal before Teemer got an escape, the score 2-1 heading into the final frame. With Teemer starting on the bottom, he opened with an escape before shooting for a big takedown that would go on to give him the victory despite an escape from Monday and stall warning on the Devil.

165: Anthony Valencia (ASU) over Jake Marsh (PRIN) (Dec 6-3)
Valencia kept Marsh on his toes with a mix of fakes and quick low blows. Scoring opened in the second period with Marsh earning two escapes and Valencia getting one takedown. Then in the second Valencia earned a reversal and put a stamp on the day with a final takedown to win 6-3.

174: Nate Dugan (PRIN) over Zane Coleman (ASU) (Dec 8-4)
Dugan was firmly in control from start to finish. Coleman's four points all came from escapes, and Dugan used three takedowns and a reversal to claim the day.

184 & 197: ASU forfeited 184 and Jacob Ortiz fell 19-3 to Luke Stout at 197.

285: Cohlton Schultz (ASU) over Matthew Cover (PRIN) (MD 13-5)
Big man Schultz did what he does best - be difficult to wrestle. Schultz opened with a string of takedowns to go up 6-2 on Cover and kept his legs low and wide to prevent Cover from doing any damage. Schultz' two takedowns in the second came from the Sun Devil stopping Cover's strikes and flipping to his back to incapacitate his opponent. A stalling penalty and a final takedown in the third gave Schultz his third major of the season.
