TEMPE - ASU track and field has a full Saturday of action scheduled with the West Coast Classic running in Eugene, Oregon and Tucson, Arizona. Distance runners and throwers compete all-day at Hayward Field in Oregon while sprinters and jumpers will compete on the campus of Arizona.

All eyes should be on ASU throughout competition, especially the throwers. The men's side comes in ranked 22nd in the USTFCCCA ratings index, while the women sit at 20th. Top-10 athletes include No. 1 Turner Washington who leads the country in both the shot and discus, No. 3/7 Jorinde van Klinken (discus, shot - respectively) No. 4 Beatrice Llano (hammer). Beyond them, freshman Jamar Marshall Jr., who went to the NCAA Indoor Championships for the 60mH, ranks 11th in the 110H, while Josephine Anokye (200m) and Sevanna Hanson (pole vault) both rank 12th in their events. Carlan Naisant rounds out ASU's top-15 athletes with a 14th rank in the javelin.
