Sun Devil Baseball Announces 2021 ScheduleSun Devil Baseball Announces 2021 Schedule
PHOENIX – Sun Devil Baseball has officially released its 2021 schedule, as announced by head coach Tracy Smith and the Pac-12 Conference office.

The Sun Devils will be scheduled to play 55 total contests, including a 30-game conference slate and 25 non-conference matchups. ASU is slated to play 34 games in the confines of Phoenix Municipal Stadium. The program will look to add a 56th game over the course of the season.

The current schedule is subject to any number of date and time changes due to the volatility of circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 crisis and in keeping with both local and national health recommendations and guidelines. The health and safety of student-athletes remains a top priority of Arizona State University and the Pac-12 Conference.

Additionally, no television selections have been determined at this time, which could further affect the dates and times of this schedule.

All baseball competitions will be conducted in accordance with the Pac-12 COVID-19 Medical Advisory Committee health and safety recommendations and guidelines, available at Pac-12.com/health.

The Sun Devils will open the 2021 campaign on Feb. 19 with a four-game set against San Jose State from Friday through Monday. Those four games are the first of 15 scheduled home contests for Arizona State to open the season at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

The stretch will feature a series against Hawai'i (Feb. 26 and a double header on Feb. 27), a non-conference series against Utah (March 5-7), before concluding with a three-game sequence against West Coast rival Fullerton (March 12-14). Sprinkled in between those series will be midweek contests against Nevada (March 2) and UNLV (March 16).

ASU will open Pac-12 play on the road on March 19 at Oregon in Eugene. It will host Washington State in its Pac-12 home opening series beginning March 26.

A midweek road tilt at UNLV (March 30) will preface the annual Territorial Cup series against Arizona in Phoenix beginning on Thursday, April 1. The two squads will make it four games in a row with a non-conference midweek tilt down in Tucson on April 6.

A road series at Washington (April 9) will continue Pac-12 action ahead of a home set against Stanford (April 16).

ASU will take part in a home-and-away midweek two-game set with Grand Canyon University on April 20 and 21 in the Valley of the Sun before heading back on the road for a Pac-12 conference series at Utah beginning April 23.

ASU will remain in Utah to take on BYU on April 26 in Provo before hosting its final non-conference series of the year against Rhode Island beginning April 30.

It will be back on the road to take on Cal on May 7 before making a pit stop in Reno to square off with Nevada on the road on May 11.

The Devils will then host Oregon State beginning May 14 before concluding the team's road slate with a midweek game at San Diego on May 19 ahead of the team's final road Pac-12 series at USC on May 21.

The Sun Devils will close out the regular season with UCLA at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.

Television selections will be announced by the Pac-12 in the coming weeks.

Earlier this month, the Pac-12 announced an extension to the prohibition on fan attendance at Pac-12 sport competitions taking place on Pac-12 campuses until further notice. For more information, reference the Pac-12 release here.
