Sun Devil Jon Rahm has earned the No. 1 ranking in the world after his three-stroke win at the Memorial in Ohio.
For Rahm, it has been a steady climb after graduating from Arizona State with his Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2016 and earning 11 collegiate wins in his four seasons, second only to Phil Mickelson's 16 on the Sun Devil career charts.
He shot 69-67-68-79 and raced out to a 8-stroke lead early on Sunday and held on for his fourth PGA TOUR victory.
