TEMPE, Ariz. – Senior gymnast Jessica Ginn was named to the 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, earning first team honors in Arizona State's district as announced on Tuesday.
Arizona State continues to shine in the classroom as well as in arenas. This Gym Devils have had a gymnast make the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team in three of the last four seasons. Anne Kuhm made it last year and Corinne Belkoff earned the nod in 2017. Additionally, this year six Gym Devils were named to the 2020 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll, including Ginn.
A Barrett, The Honors College graduate, Ginn earned a 4.00 while earning her degree in kinesiology and helping the Sun Devils to another winning season. ASU finished the year ranked No. 21 and fourth in the Pac-12 regular season standings. Ginn played a key role for the Gym Devils on vault and floor. She had a great final season, earning a 9.900 on floor three times. She also won one floor title, never scoring below a 9.800 in that event. On vault, she ended the year with four-straight 9.800s or better.
