TEMPE, Ariz. – In Sun Devil Gymnastics' annual Maroon and Gold intrasquad scrimmage, Maroon won the day, besting Gold 116.175 to 115.975 at Desert Financial Arena on Wednesday evening.

Team Results
Gold led early in the meet after a strong start on bars. Clark scored a 9.750 on bars to help Gold. For Maroon, Boyer's 9.750 led the way.
Rotation Two: Maroon, 29.225; Gold, 29.275
With a huge stick from Scharf on vault, Gold continued to hold the lead after the second rotation. Mangahas chipped in a 9.775 to give them a solid event score. For Maroon, Boyer had a team-high score again with a 9.800. White added a solid 9.775 as well.
Rotation Three: Maroon, 29.000; Gold, 28.250
Maroon took the lead in the meet after their beam rotation, with Samiley's 9.775 as their top beam score. Gold struggled on floor, but Scharf's 9.800 was a bright spot.
Rotation Four: Maroon, 28.950; Gold, 29.275
In the final rotation, Maroon solidified its lead after Boyer capped off the meet for them with a 9.825 on floor. For Gold, Scharf's 9.800 was the high score, with Clark's 9.775 not far behind.

- Maroon won the night with a 116.175. Gold was right behind its fellow Gym Devils with a 115.975.
- Sophomore Hannah Scharf won the all-around with a 39.150. She scored a 9.800 or better in three of her four events, winning two event titles (vault and beam). Fellow sophomore Juliette Boyer was not far behind with a 39.075 in the all-around and two event titles of her own (bars and floor).
- Individual event winners were Scharf on vault (9.850), Boyer on bars (9.800), Scharf on beam (9.800) and Boyer on floor (9.825).
- Several freshmen made their DFA debut: Cassi Barbanente, Sarah Clark, Jada Mangahas, Cienna Samiley and Emily White. Mangahas and White both competed in the all-around.
- There were five scores of over 9.800 between the two teams.
- The highest event score was 29.275, which Gold achieved twice. They earned it on vault and beam.
