SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Sun Devil Lacrosse attacker Emily Glagolev was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The junior played brilliantly in all facets of the game this weekend, proving once again she can compete at the highest level. Glagolev finished with three goals, seven assists, three ground balls, and two draw controls as the Arizona State split their two-game road trip to the Midwest.

What makes the Sun Devil attacker so tough to defend is her ability to both facilate and score. Her performance this weekend was a perfect example of that. On Friday night, Glagolev dished out four assists, helping the Sun Devils to a program-record 24 goals in Arizona State's victory over Detroit Mercy on Friday (24-6). In the Sunday showdown with No. 3 Northwestern, Glagolev caused havoc for a stingy Wildcats' defense. She was the focal point of the Sun Devil offense, scoring three goals of her own while assisting on three others. Glagolev's six points are the most Northwestern has allowed to an individual this season. The Maroon & Gold set a new record for most goals against a Top-25 program, doing it against the highest-ranked opponent (#3) in the brief program history.

Glagolev continues her offensive tear dating back to last season, recording her three or more assists in four straight games. After adding two more this weekend, she now has 12 consecutive multi-point performances, compiling 46 points during that span. The Webster, New York native became just the second Sun Devil in program history to surpass 100 career points, joining teammate Kerri Clayton in the exclusive club.

The 2019 Pac-12 All-Conference Second Team selection has raised her game to an even higher level this season. Of her six career hat tricks, two have come in the first three games of 2020. Glagolev's production is on an eye-popping pace, as she has already has compiled 15 points through three games this season after recording nine at the same point last season (finished 2019 with 56 points).

It represents the second such honor that Glagolev has earned in her career, previously taking home the final Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week award of 2019 (4/22). In that game, she finished with a career-high nine points (3 goals & 6 assists) in a win over Thursday's opponent San Diego State. Glagolev hit the 50-point plateau on the season in style with a clutch goal late in the second half to put the game away.

Glagolev's recognition is the fourth time a Sun Devil has received a Pac-12 Player of the Week honor, with the previous three all coming last season.
