TEMPE, Ariz. – In the final regular season meet, No. 21 Arizona State gymnastics will honor Barrett, The Honors College as they host No. 14 BYU and West Virginia this Wednesday in Wells Fargo Arena starting at 6:30 p.m. MST.
The Gym Devils (9-10) are looking to bounce back after a season-low score on Sunday in Denver. The squad has four team totals of 196.000 or better, the highest being a 196.625 against Oregon State on February 22. Their best event has been on bars, where they have scored a 49.000-plus in eight straight meets. They are currently ranked No. 19 in that event. Additionally, they are top-25 on vault (21) and beam (23).
Sophomore Cairo Leonard-Baker continues to lead the charge for the Sun Devils. She is currently No. 25 in the all-around with a 39.320 average. On bars, she is tied at No. 10 with a 9.900 average.
This meet will recognize Barrett, The Honors College and also the fans for all of the support this season. Five Gym Devils are in Barrett: Corinne Belkoff, Jessica Ginn, Kaitlin Harvey, Katelyn Lentz and Heather Udowitch. For the fans, there will be $1 popcorn and other in-meet events to enjoy.

- The Cougars are coming off of a 197.000 to beat Boise State, the highest score in program history since 2004.
- Earlier this season, BYU and ASU competed in a tri-meet at Cal. The Sun Devils won that matchup, 195.700 to 194.975.
- Shannon Evans leads the team this season, earning a No. 15 national rank in the all-around with a 39.445 average. On floor, she is ranked No. 21 with a 9.910 average.
- The Mountaineers are just outside of the top-25 at No. 28. They are averaging a 195.635 and their season best is a 196.125.
- West Virginia is in the top 25 in two events: No. 13 on floor and No. 23 on vault.
- Associate head coach Jessica Santos is an alumnus of West Virginia. She was a gymnast from 2001-05 and was the last gymnast in program history to score a perfect 10.0 in competition.
