FROM THE COACHES
Head Swimming Coach Bob Bowman
"We had the team up at 3:30 a.m. today to fly to the mountains and swim against a good Utah team. There was a lot of tough racing, and I'm proud of how we handled today's challenges. We are in very hard training right now and the athletes had great attitudes and team spirit.

Our freshman got their first real taste of collegiate racing today and will definitely get a lot out of today's experience. Jade Foelske, Jack Dolan and Alex Colson all won events. We are a young team and we are getting better every day.

Cierra Runge won three events today, and Ben Olszewski and Emma Nordin were tough in the distance events. I'm looking forward to seeing them improve as the season continues."

Head Diving Coach Mark Bradshaw
"It's really early in the season for us, so I thought we wouldn't be incredibly sharp and that was the way it went for us today. Both Frida and Youssef did some good things and some not so good things as well. We still have some work to do!"
