He also ran for 23 yards, including a 17-yard dash for the game-winning touchdown with 34 seconds remaining. Daniels connected with Aiyuk for touchdown strikes of 40, 86 and 33 yards. Aiyuk caught seven passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns against the Cougars. The 196 yards and three scores both represented career highs, while Aiyuk's 28.0 yard per-catch average was the highest single-game per-catch average of a Sun Devil recording seven catches in a game, passing N'Keal Harry's previous record of 24.3 in 2017. Aiyuk caught a 40-yard pass on 3rd & 5 for ASU's first points of the game early in the second quarter. Later in the quarter, he teamed with Daniels for the aforementioned eighth-longest passing play in school history (86 yards) for his second touchdown of the game. On the play, Aiyuk caught the pass at the ASU 35 and then outraced WSU's defense over the last 65 yards. Aiyuk hauled in his third scoring reception, a 33-yard catch-and-run, early in the fourth quarter.  He caught two passes for 23 yards on ASU's game-winning, 75-yard touchdown drive that culminated in Daniels' 17-yard run.
