LOS ANGELES – Arizona State volleyball was unable to find an offensive rhythm in a three-set loss (25-13, 25-14, 25-20) at UCLA on Sunday afternoon.

The Bruins put together a 3-0 run early to go up 6-4. A block from Kovensky and Beedie tied it back up at 7-7 before UCLA caught fire, scoring five in a row to push the lead to 15-8. Arizona State could not fight back into it, falling 25-13.
Set Two: UCLA 25, Arizona State 14
An early block from freshman Kennedi Boyd gave some life to ASU. However, UCLA responded and took control of the set. The Bruins went on a 10-1 run to go up 13-5. Beedie earned a block and Kovensky followed that up with a kill to make it 21-14, but UCLA closed out the set with four-straight points to win the set.
Set Three: UCLA 25, Arizona State 20
The third set was the most competitive in the match. The Bruins opened up with a 6-0 run, but the Sun Devils got back in it. A 5-1 run that included back-to-back blocks, one from Boyd and one from Iman Isanovic, got ASU within one, down 13-12. Two kills in a row from Kovensky gave Arizona State its first lead of the set at 17-16. Tied at 20-20, UCLA strung together five points in a row to finish off the sweep.
