TEMPE, Ariz. – Representing Arizona State volleyball, Canadians Megan Beedie and Andrea Mitrovic continue to play for national teams in early August, both headed to big stages.
Mitrovic is still on the Canadian National Team roster and will travel with the team to Kalinigrad, Russia for the Intercontinental Olympic Volleyball Qualification tournament from August 1-4. Canada will be in Pool E, playing Korea first, then Russia and then Mexico.
After the round robin, the highest placed National Federation of each pool will earn a ticket to Tokyo 2020. More information can be found on the FIVB website. Matches will be streamed here.
Beedie will participate in the 2019 Pan American Games tournament from August 2-11 in Lima, Peru. She will be on a team with both national team members and next generation athletes, like herself.
