TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 8 Sun Devil women's water polo team picked up a decisive victory, 17-3, over Siena in their home finale. ASU took an early lead and never looked back.
Julia Reyes and Meghan Beaudet led the way with three goals apiece while P.J. Allin, Amira Van Buren, Layla Waters, and Rosie Huck scored two apiece in the effort. Lieke Rogge, Catherine Simko and Maud Koopman also scored a goal.
ASU scored four goals apiece in the first and second quarters, holding a 8-1 lead at halftime, and tacked on six more in the third and three more in the fourth.
In goal, Belen Ehinger played the entire game, making 14 saves and one steal in 32 minutes of play.
The Sun Devils close their 2019 home season and have two more regular season contests at USC on Apr. 13 and at Cal on Apr. 20. The MPSF Championships will be at Stanford from Apr. 26-28 while NCAA Championships is also at Stanford May 10-12.
