TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 17 Sun Devil Women's Golf team shot their lowest round of the spring en route to the team title at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational at Sewailo Golf Club in Tucson.

"Wow, what a day with 20 mph winds and a wind chill of 45 degrees," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "I challenged my team last night to figure out who they want to be on the golf course. Today they answered that challenge and then some. I am very proud of each and every one of them for their resilience and fight today. This is a big win for us and I am so happy for this team."

After a stellar first round and a slight falter in the second round, ASU rebounded with an even better third round, shooting two under as a team on Tuesday to win by seven strokes. Oregon finished in second while the host No. 9 Wildcats finished in third place, shooting 11-over on the final day.

Individually, Alessandra Fanali earned her highest finish of her collegiate career, tied for second overall. Sofia Anokhina also earned her first top-10 finish as a Sun Devil (T8). All five Sun Devils competing towards the team score finished in the top-25 as Alexandra Forsterling and Raquel Olmos finished T18 and Olivia Mehaffey T22.

Competing as an individual, Madison Kerley had her first top-10 finish in three years, finishing in seventh place.

The Sun Devils close the regular season in just over two weeks Mar. 29-31 with their own PING/ASU Invitational, the first one at Papago Golf Course.
