Ninth-ranked @SunDevilMGolf is in Mexico to compete in the Cabo Collegiate at Querencia March 3-5. The tournament takes place at the Querencia Golf and Beach Club with 18 holes to be played each of the three days. ASU placed fourth in last year's event.
The Sun Devils are looking to build on their last performance where they took home first place at the John Burns Intercollegiate. The team is yet to finish outside the top five in a tournament this season and has jumped into the Golfstat top-10 for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
THE LINEUP
The ASU lineup includes juniors Alex del Rey, Blake Wagoner and Chun An Yu, freshman Cameron Sisk, and sophomore Mason Andersen. Senior Jino Sohn will be competing as an individual. Alex del Rey has posted consecutive top five finishes for ASU and was recently named to the first spring Palmer Cup rankings along with Chun An Yu. Mason Andersen who was the Sun Devils top performer in the event last season, finishing tied for seventh.
