PULLMAN, Wash. – Led by Kianna Ibis (22 points) and Robbi Ryan (13 points), the No. 20 Arizona State women's basketball team won its third straight game with a 61-46 win over Washington State on Thursday night.

The Sun Devils (16-6, 7-4 Pac-12) overcame a slow start in the first half, outscoring the Cougars  34-18 over the final 20 minutes. In the final two quarters ASU hit 60 percent of its shots while holding Washington State to only 19 percent.

Ryan's 13 points represented a season high as the junior guard hit 5-8 from the floor and tied her career high with a trio of triples. Jamie Ruden, who came into the game having hit 60 percent of her shots in ASU's last five games, matched her recent standard, scoring seven points on 3-5 shooting.

Ibis and Charnea Johnson-Chapman tied for the team lead with eight rebounds each while Iris Mbulito had a career-high seven boards and tied her career mark with five assists.

ASU had 17 assists to go with only 10 turnovers. Reili Richardson, who entered the game No. 2 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, tied for the team lead with five assists to go with only one turnover (has 26 assists and only four turnovers in last six games).

Washington State (7-16, 2-10) was led by Hristova Borislava, who had 11 points.

ASU trailed by as many as eight points in the second quarter before using a 14-2 run to take a 27-23 lead. Ibis started the scoring burst with five straight points and Ryan followed with a 3-pointer to tie the score. Johnson-Chapman (layup) and Mbulito (jumper) then completed the scoring run.

WSU came back with the last five points of the quarter to take a slim, 28-27 lead into the locker room.

ASU opened the third quarter with a 10-0 run to take a 37-28 lead and, ultimately, command of the game. Ryan (six points on two 3-pointers) and Ibis (four points) were responsible for all 10 points.

After the Cougars cut the lead to seven, Ruden (layup) and Courtney Ekmark (3-pointer) scored five straight points to put ASU ahead by 12. The Sun Devils would maintain a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the game.

Shortly after the game, ASU learned that its game scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Washington had been canceled due to inclement weather in Seattle and throughout the Pacific Northwest. The game will not be made up.

The Sun Devils will return to action next Friday (Feb. 15) when they host Colorado at 6 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
