TEMPE, Ariz. – Kianna Ibis scored a game-high 18 points and came one rebound short of a double-double to help lead the No. 19 Arizona State women's basketball team to a 66-49 win over Colorado on Friday night.
 
Courtney Ekmark (6-9 FGs) added 14 points for the Sun Devils (17-6, 8-4 Pac-12), who won their fourth consecutive game.
 
Ibis (nine rebounds), Sophia Elenga (four points, nine rebounds) and Charnea Johnson-Chapman (eight points, seven rebounds, three assists) helped ASU finish with advantages of plus-eight on the boards (42-34) and plus-11 in second-chance points (18-7).
 
Reili Richardson, who came into the game No. 3 in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, had seven points, six assists with no turnovers and moved into fourth place on ASU's all-time assists list (now has 400 in her career).
 
Colorado (11-13, 1-12), who was led by Alexis Robinson's 13 points, became the third straight Sun Devil opponent to score less than 50 points. Colorado was also the fourth straight Sun Devil foe to shoot under 35 percent (34.7).
 
Ekmark and Ibis scored five points each to help lead ASU to an 18-11 lead after one quarter.
 
Richardson (jumper), Ibis (3-pointer) and Jayde Van Hyfte (layup) came out and scored the first seven points of the second quarter to help ASU open up a 14-point lead, 25-11.
 
Colorado responded with an 11-3 run to cut ASU's lead to six, but the Sun Devils scored the last four points of the quarter to take a 32-22 lead into the locker room.
 
Up by 10 midway through the third quarter, the Sun Devils tightened their grip on the game with a 12-3 run to take a 51-32 lead after Kiara Russell's jumper with 54 seconds left in the quarter. Robbi Ryan hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the middle of the scoring burst as ASU connected on 50 percent of its shots in the period (8-16).
 
Colorado fought back and got within 11 points, however could not trim the deficit any further as ASU used an 11-0 run to take its largest lead of the game, 66-44, after Van Hyfte's layup with 2:28 left in the game.
 
The Sun Devils wore pink uniforms on Friday night as part of their annual Pink Game to raise Breast Cancer Awareness.
