CORVALLIS, Ore. – Kianna Ibis scored 21 of her season-high 28 points in the second half and overtime to help the No. 19 Arizona State women's basketball team to a 79-76, double-overtime win over No. 10 Oregon State on Sunday.

Ibis also posted season highs in rebounds (13) and shot blocks (3) while Reili Richardson scored 10 of her season-high 16 points in the two overtime periods to help the Sun Devils (13-5, 4-3 Pac-12) earn their first win over a Top 10 opponent this season after coming up just short in their previous four attempts.

Richardson added six assists and one block, Iris Mbulito had nine points, five rebounds and three assists and Jamie Ruden had seven points. In addition to Ibis' and Mbulito's contributions on the boards, Charnea Johnson-Chapman (six rebounds), Robbi Ryan (six rebounds), Sophia Elenga (five rebounds) each pulled down five or more rebounds to help ASU to conclude the game with a 42-40 advantage in rebounding.

After shooting 36 percent (16-44) through the first three quarters, the Sun Devils closed the game by knocking down 67 percent (14-21) of their shots over the last 20 minutes (fourth quarter and two overtimes), including 88 percent (7-8) in the two overtime periods.

Ibis made all six of her field goals in the fourth quarter accounting for 13 of ASU's 18 points over the final 10 minutes of regulation. She scored ASU's last 11 points, including a jumper with six seconds left that put ASU up 60-58.

Mikayla Pivec, who led the Beavers (15-3, 5-1) with 19 points, came back on the opposite end and scored on a layup with two seconds left to send the game to overtime tied at 60-60.

Neither team led by more than two points in the first overtime. Pivec's jumper with 1:08 left put the Beavers up 66-64. Richardson came back and tied it with a layup with 45 seconds remaining. The score would remain unchanged for the remainder of the period and the game went to a second five-minute overtime tied at 66-66.

After an exchange of baskets over the first 90 seconds of the second overtime, Richardson gave the Sun Devils a lead they would not relinquish after hitting a triple to put ASU up 71-68 with 3:20 remaining.

The Beavers got within a point three different times, but the Sun Devils would respond with points of their own each time. Richardson led the way scoring five points in the final 33 seconds. The Beavers had a chance to send the game to a third overtime in the final seconds, but Katie McWilliams' 3-pointer missed its mark and the Sun Devils left Corvallis as the victors for the first time since 2011.

After trailing 12-5 early on, the Sun Devils used a 9-2 run to knot the game at 14-14 at the end of one quarter.

The momentum ASU established carried over into the second quarter as the Sun Devils knocked down 50 percent of their shots over the ensuing 10 minutes sending them to the locker room with a 33-26 halftime lead.

Johnson-Chapman's layup to open the third quarter gave ASU its biggest lead of the game, 35-26.

Oregon State responded with a 14-2 run later in the quarter and would eventually lead by four before Courtney Ekmark's jumper got ASU back within two entering the final quarter.

For the Sun Devils, Sunday's win was their second straight over the Beavers after snapping a seven-game losing streak with a 57-51 win in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament last March, a game in which Ibis had 14 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds.

Although the Sun Devils were 0-4 in their previous four assignments against top 10 teams before Sunday, they just as easily could be 4-0 as each contest came down to the final minutes. In their prior four opportunities, the Sun Devils nearly pulled off upsets over then-No. 4 Baylor (L, 59-65), then-No. 5 Louisville (L, 56-58), No. 6 Stanford (L, 55-62) and No. 5 Oregon (L, 71-77) losing the four games by a combined 21 points.

The Sun Devils return to action on Friday (11 a.m. MT) when they host UCLA in their annual Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip Game.
