The Pac-12 Conference has announced its 2018-19 men's basketball schedule, as the Sun Devils will open on Tuesday, Nov. 6, hosting 2018 Big West Tournament champion Cal State Fullerton on Pac-12 Network in a 6 p.m. contest. The schedule includes four Pac-12 games on FS1 and five Pac-12 games will be broadcast by ESPN in some fashion (ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU). ASU will open the Pac-12 season at home for just the fourth time in past 11 seasons.

In addition to the two SEC Network games, The ESPN family will televise eight of the 31 regular-season games, while the Pac-12 Networks will carry 15. FS1 will have four games, and CBS will carry the UA-ASU finale on March 9.

ASU will make early non-conference appearances on ESPNU vs. Mississippi State (MGM Grand Main Event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Nov. 19) and ESPN2 (vs. Nevada on Dec. 7 in STAPLES Center and Dec. 22 vs. Kansas in Tempe). All three of those teams have been ranked in preseason polls, as Coach Hurley has four wins over ranked teams so far including three non-conference games. ASU will also play on the SEC Network twice, as it makes an SEC road trip to Georgia (Dec. 15) and Vanderbilt (Dec. 17).

--ASU will open the Pac-12 season at home for just the fourth time in past 11 seasons. ASU will host Utah (Jan. 3) and Colorado (Jan. 5), as the Sun Devils are 5-1 vs. Colorado in Tempe (including a current five-game win streak). In 2017 Tra Holder was big-time clutch in the Colorado win, hitting two free throws to win the game. Last year ASU turned a 32-32 halftime game into an 80-66 win in front of 13,943 fans. This year will mark just the second time in past five years ASU hasn't opened the Pac-12 season against Arizona.

--The Sun Devils will travel to the Bay Area the second week of Pac-12 play, as it has won three of the past five at Haas Pavilion and won at Stanford for the first time since 2009-10 in 2016-17. ASU's 35-point 79-44 win Jan. 22, 2015, at Cal is its biggest Pac-12 win since it beat Washington State by 41 (96-55) on Jan. 11, 2003, and the second-largest Pac-12 road win in school history, as it dealt the Golden Bears their second-largest home loss. ASU swept Cal for the eleventh time in 2017-18. ASU is 7-4 vs. California in its past 11.
