SAN FRANCISCO – Following the conclusion of the 2018 NCAA men's swimming & diving championships, the Pac-12 has named the 2018 All-Academic teams for the sport and 11 Sun Devils have been named between three teams.

The First Team honorees for ASU are Kevin Benavidez, Zach Dienstbier, Sidney Kao, Heikki Makikallio, and Youssef Selim while the Second Teamers are Reid Elliott and Ben Olszewski.

Earning Honorable Mention accolades are Danny Comforti, Christian Lorenz, Patrick Park, and Warren McElroy.

In January, the Sun Devil men's and women's squads earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the ninth consecutive season dating back to fall 2013.

In fall 2017, the men's team also recorded a perfect 100 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR), announced annually by the NCAA, making a significant improvement from last to first in the Pac-12 over the past three years.

The Sun Devil men finish a successful year in which they tallied several All-American honors at NCAA's and a top-10 ranking to finish the regular season.
