KAILUA-KONA, Hawai'i – Following the first round of play at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview, the No. 10 Sun Devils are 5-over as a team as sophomore Raquel Olmos is the top Sun Devil (T16), shooting an even-73 on the day.
Olmos birdied or shot par on eight of nine holes on the front nine while senior Sofia Anokhina completed a similar feat on seven of nine on the front side.
As a team, ASU is in a tie for eighth-place with Oregon State.
Madison Kerley (T21) is just outside the top-20 while Olivia Mehaffey and Alexandra Försterling (T28) are just outside the top-25.
Oregon, Cal, and No. 1 USC are in a three-way tie for the top spot after 18 holes (-3).
On Tuesday, the teams will once again tee off in a shotgun start at 7:30 am Hawai'i time/11:30 am Arizona time. The Sun Devils will be paired with UCLA, Washington State, and Hawai'i and will tee off on holes 11-15.
