BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Zach Poti secured the Sun Devils' first top finish with his victory in the 100 back as ASU finished up day two of the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington. The men currently sit in fourth place with 705 points – just 16 points back from third – while the women sit in fourth with 501 points.

The Sun Devils performed well Friday evening, with 12 men and women earning spots in A-Finals, 14 in B-Finals and 18 in C-Finals. Of the 12 in A-Finals, three were freshmen in Liam Bresette (200 free), Cody Bybee (200 free) and Elijah Warren (100 breast). 16 Sun Devils added NCAA B-Cuts today, bringing the total to 30 secured through two days in Bloomington.

Seven Sun Devils cracked the top-10 in school history list today, including Chloe Isleta in the 100 back, Fanny Teijonsalo twice in the 100 fly, Marlies Ross in the 400 IM, Grant House in the 200 free, Poti in the 100 back and Ben Olszewski in the 400 IM. With her mark, Ross now holds six of the top-10 times, including the top three times in the 400 IM.

The 200 freestyle event was a point of pride for ASU, as three of the eight men sent to the block in the A-Final donned pitchforks, including two freshmen. House raced to a podium finish in second, putting up a time of 1:33.34.

The mark represented a personal best for the Sun Devil and also secured him an NCAA B-Cut in the event. House finished above some of the premiere swimmers in the country including World Champion gold medalist Zach Apple of Indiana and two-time NCAA Champion Coleman Stewart of NC State. Bresette also touched the wall just half a second after Apple.

On the women's side, Emma Nordin and Erica Laning took the block in the A-Final of the 200 free. Only Louisville sent more women to the 200 free A-Finals with four. Nordin notched a fifth-place finish while Laning placed eight in the event.

The freshmen women also contributed points today, with almost a quarter of the points the ASU women put up today coming from first-year Sun Devils. Ruby Martin, Lilia Smith, Sheridan Schreiber, Lizzy Spears, Rachael Holp and Lana Berry all put points on the board for their squad today.

Aside from House, the Sun Devils had one other individual podium finish on the evening in Zach Poti, who took a victory in the 100 back with a time of 45.74. That marked tied Richard Bohus for seventh-fastest in school history and improved on Poti's NCAA B-Cut seed time in the event as well.

ASU added two more podium finishes in the 800 free relay events, with both the men and the women placing third in the race. The men's time of 6:20.38 was less than a second off from cracking the top-5 fastest list in school history.
