PHOENIX - Sun Devil Baseball has released its 2019 Schedule, as announced by the Pac-12 Conference office and head coach Tracy Smith.

The upcoming season will feature a slew of opponents that appeared in the 2018 NCAA Baseball Tournament, including three-game home series against 2018 College World Series Champion Oregon State and in-state rival Arizona.

Home non-conference series against programs from Notre Dame, Michigan State, Xavier and UC Davis will be featured in the opening month of the season.

Fans will be treated to home tilts against 2018 postseason competitors from Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA and New Mexico State.

The 2019 slate features 34 home games, with the first 11 games of the season all schedule to take place at Phoenix Municipal Stadium and 19 of the first 21 games of the campaign featured in the newly renovated facility.

Fans descending on Phoenix Municipal Stadium this season can expect to enjoy a number of capital improvements that have occurred during the offseason. Construction on the $4.8M project, funded entirely through philanthropic support via the Sun Devil Club, began on June 6 with a completion date set for early November.

A state-of-the-art batting facility, which will be situated along the right-field line, will include three indoor hitting bays and a soft toss area, and garage-style doors that will afford the facility an open-air option, and a viewing deck with a hospitality area to enhance the game day experience for Sun Devil Nation.

The five-month project included the installation of a new outfield fence, relocating the home and visiting team bullpens behind the new fence, and changing the dimensions of the ballpark.
