TEMPE, Ariz. – As we prepare to start our 2018-19 season next month, this week we'll be re-introducing you to our returning Pac-12 individual champions.
We have seven returning Pac-12 titlists (Josh Shields, Tanner Hall, Zahid Valencia, Josh Maruca, Anthony Valencia, Kordell Norfleet, and Christian Pagdilao) while Ryan Millhof also won a Big 12 Championship while at Oklahoma.
Today, get to know Pac-12 Champion (2018) Kordell Norfleet (184 lbs), one of just 16 true freshmen to compete at 2018 NCAA Championships, a sophomore finance major from Chicago, Ill.
Q: Which teammate is in the room practicing more than anyone else?
A: Josh Shields or Austin Clayton
Q: What's your favorite place to eat in Tempe?
A: Wingstop or Blaze Pizza
Q: Are you superstitious? If so, what's the most ridiculous thing you do?
A: I knock on wood in some cases.
Q: What's a unique part of your pre-match ritual?
A: I'm usually dancing too much.

A: No better feeling

A: Absolutely not

A: Midlands, mostly because it's on my home turf.

A: I wake up, go to our lift or conditioning, go to class until the afternoon, have afternoon practice, take a break before study hall, go to study hall, then go home.
