CORVALLIS, Ore. – Led by double-doubles from Ivana Jeremic and Nicole Peterson, Arizona State women's volleyball swept Oregon State (25-22, 25-16, 25-19) on the road Friday night.

"I am proud of the way the girls played tonight," Arizona State head coach Sanja Tomasevic said. "That was some of the best volleyball I have seen from them. They played smart, served tough and battled the entire time."

The Sun Devils (11-4, 2-1 Pac-12) swept the Beavers (10-5, 0-3 Pac-12) for their second-straight conference victory. Arizona State held Oregon State to a .149 clip while hitting .273. The defense continued to stay strong, collecting 68 digs in the win.

Jeremic led the team with 11 kills, a game high, and 14 digs for her eighth double-double of the year. Coming into tonight's match, she was tied for second in the Pac-12 in that category. Peterson, a Pacific Northwest native, also collected a double-double, her sixth this year. She had 23 assists and 15 digs, both game highs. Carmen Unzue tallied six blocks and kills, hitting .600. Megan Beedie also had a big night, notching four aces, which ties a career-high. She also had five kills and two blocks.

Beedie started the match with back-to-back aces to put the Sun Devils up 5-2 early in the first set. However, the Beavers responded with a 5-0 run to take back the lead. Three-consecutive points put ASU up again, a lead that would hold for the remainder of the set. Alyse Ford capped off a 4-0 run to extend the lead to 18-13, forcing a Beavers timeout. Oregon State strung together three-straight points when Arizona State was at set point, but a kill from Jeremic's kill gave the Sun Devils the 25-22 win.

After zero blocks in the first set, ASU had five in the second, Unzue getting involved in four of those stuff blocks. Behind that big block, the Sun Devils dominated the second set, opening with a 5-1 run. Claire Kovensky came alive, notching four kills early in the set to push the lead. A big 5-0 run that saw two blocks from Unzue gave ASU a 17-11 lead. An ace from Callie Jones had the Beavers calling a timeout, down 19-12, but the Sun Devils did not let up. Beedie capped off the set with a kill for the 25-16 win.

The Sun Devils held the lead for the entire set, despite the Beavers cutting into the lead towards the end. A 3-0 run from Oregon State made it 22-19, but ASU scored three in a row to complete the sweep, finishing with Jeremic's 11th kill of the night.
