#10 @SunDevilWGolf Shoots Second Lowest Round on Day 2#10 @SunDevilWGolf Shoots Second Lowest Round on Day 2
NAPA, Calif. – On day two of the Silverado Showdown, the No. 10 Arizona State women's golf team moved up seven spots on the leaderboard while shooting the second-lowest round of the day amongst the 17-team field.

"We are so proud of how this team competed today," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "We played with heart, tenacity, and grit. Shooting the second lowest round of the day after our struggles yesterday is impressive, especially competing with only four players."

Sophomore Olivia Mehaffey stayed steady, still in seventh, while shooting a 3-under 69, the second-lowest individual round of the day.

Freshman Raquel Olmos tied her career-low, shooting 70 on Monday, and moving up 43 spots in individual standings. Madison Kerley and Roberta Liti also moved up 19 and 20 spots, respectively.

Tuesday's final round will begin with an 8am PT shotgun start as the Sun Devils will tee off on hole 7 (Mehaffey), 8A (Kerley), 8B (Olmos), and 9B (Liti) alongside No. 23 Purdue and No. 14 Northwestern.
