TEMPE, Ariz. – Kianna Ibis scored a game-high 26 points and Reili Richardson dished out a career-high 11 assists as the No. 25 Arizona State women's basketball team knocked off No. 23 Cal 80-71 on Friday night.

Jamie Ruden (14 points) and Robbi Ryan (scored all 13 of her points in the second half) also notched double-figure scoring totals for the Sun Devils (12-3, 3-0 Pac-12), who won their fifth consecutive game.

Ibis, who scored a career-high 30 points in ASU's 83-81 win at Utah on Sunday, once again had the hot hand as she was 11-of-22 from the floor against the Bears (10-4, 1-2).

The Sun Devils shot 52 percent for the game, but would save their best for the second half when they sank 64 percent of their shots. Ibis (6-10/16 points), Ryan (5-7/13 points) and Ruden (4-6/nine points) combined for 38 of ASU's 47 second-half points while collectively shooting 65 percent (15-23) over the final 20 minutes.

Charnea Johnson-Chapman posted her third double-figure rebounding game with 10 to pace the Sun Devils, who were plus-two on the boards (31-29). Ibis also added six rebounds of her own.

Richardson, who added six points and four rebounds, brilliantly orchestrated ASU's attack as the Sun Devils had only four turnovers the entire game, the eighth time this season ASU has had 10 or fewer turnovers in a game, including five times in its last six games.

Ibis picked up right where she left off in her last outing at Utah as she scored eight points in the first quarter to lead ASU to an 18-14 advantage after 10 minutes.

Johnson-Chapman's layup with 6:13 remaining in the first half gave ASU its first double-digit lead of the game, 25-14.

Cal would get within six before consecutive baskets by Ibis and Kiara Russell (eight points, four assists) pushed the lead back to 10 in the final minute of the half. Asha Thomas, who led Cal with 25 points, was able to beat the second quarter buzzer with a layup and the Bears went to the locker room down by eight.

Kristine Anigwe scored 14 of her 24 points in the third quarter and helped Cal stay within striking distance as the Bears got within five or fewer points seven times.

However the Sun Devils would respond each time never allowing Cal to get closer than three points. On the one instance Cal got within one basket – Thomas' three cut the deficit to 41-38 – Ryan answered with a triple of her own to put the Sun Devils back up by six.

The Sun Devils entered the final frame with a six-point lead and would score the first two field goals of the quarter to once again go up by 10 after Ruden's basket with 7:55 remaining.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Courtney Ekmark (seven points, three assists and three steals in the game) and Ibis midway through the quarter helped keep the Bears at bay as Cal, despite shooting 67 percent in the second half (20-30), got no closer than six points in the final five minutes.

Richardson's 11 assists represented the third time this season she has had 10 or more assists in a game. The nation's leader in assist-to-turnover ratio entering the game, Richardson also recorded her fifth zero-turnover game of the season. She has 59 assists and only eight turnovers over the last 10 games.

The Sun Devils return to action on Sunday (2 p.m. MT) when they host No. 24 Stanford (9-6, 3-0) at Wells Fargo Arena in a matchup of two of the Pac-12's three remaining unbeaten teams (No. 9 Oregon, 14-2, 3-0, being the third) in league play. Sunday's game can be seen on ESPN2 and heard on NBC Sports Radio AM 1060.
