Tuesday brought some national awards to @SunDevilHoops, just one day after a Sun Devil earned its third Pac-12 Player of the Week.
Shannon Evans II was named the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week by the USBWA, while the NABC gave ASU its National Team of the Week.
Evans II averaged 20 points and 5.5 assists and was 13-of-25 (.520) from the field, 8-of-15 (.530) from beyond the arc and had 11-to-1 assist to turnover ratio over the weekend as ASU topped St. John's in STAPLES Center on Friday and beat No. 2 Kansas in Phog Allen on Sunday. ASU is now 9-0 for just the second time in school history, and will try and top the 1974-75 team start when it takes on Vanderbilt Sunday at noon on the Pac-12 Network.
THAT KANSAS WIN: The win over No. 2 Kansas marked the highest non-conference ranked opponent the Sun Devils have ever defeated. Only the win over top-ranked and undefeated Oregon State on March 7, 1981 was higher on the rankings scale. It marked ASU's first win over a ranked team on the road since James Harden led ASU to a win at Pauley Pavilion on Jan. 17, 2009.

ABOUT THE 9-GAME WINNING STREAK: So much has been made about the best start since 1974-75 that not a lot of folks are talking about the win streak as it stands alone. With a win Sunday, it would match the fourth-best winning streak in school history, last happening in James Haren's freshman season. Below are ASU's top winning streaks:
