Arizona State jumped on an afternoon flight to San Diego and played a solid exhibition game against a three-point shooting San Diego Torreros squad at Jenny Craig Pavilion Wednesday night, winning 85-77 behind Remy Martin's 25 points and Tra Holder's 21.

Martin provided an energy-filled effort off the bench, including 13 points in 10 first-half minutes when ASU fell behind early but battled back. USD hit 4-of-7 threes early and  led 14-6 before ASU went on a 7-0 run. 

Holder ended with 21 points and three steals, as ASU also got 12 points (eight in second half) from Kodi Justice and 14 points and 10 boards from newcomer Romello White.

ASU played without senior Shannon Evans II, who sat the game with a stomach virus. Vitaliy Shibel, who redshirted with a knee injury last year, posted eight points and made both is three-point attempts.

UP NEXT: Arizona State will host Arizona Christian in a free exhibition at 6 p.m. Friday at Wells Fargo Arena before hosting Idaho State in the season opener on Friday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m.
