COLLEGE STATION, Texas/FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – On the final day of the Art Adamson Invitational, the No. 24 Sun Devil women's swim team earned a third-place finish behind No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 1 Stanford. The team improved upon their fourth-place finish in 2016.
 
Meanwhile in Flagstaff in diving, Youssef Selim won his second event of the weekend while Heikki Makikallio and Frida Kaellgren each finished second in their respective events for the second time in as many days.
 
Kaya Philapil (200 breast) and Camryn Curry (200 back), the second of which was for an NCAA B cut, earned personal bests in their respective events on Saturday. With Sun Devils in each heat of the 200 breast, Silja Kansakoski earned the highest finish with a third-place finish in the A final.
 
Five Sun Devils competed in the 1650 free, led by Emma Nordin and Kendall Dawson with a sixth and 10th place finish, respectively.
 
Claire Fisch and Katherine Wagner took third and fourth in the B final of the 100 free.
 
In the final event of the meet, the 400 free relay, Wagner, Fisch, Nordin, and Marlies Ross earned a fifth-place finish (3:18.71).
 
In Flagstaff, Selim won his second dive of the weekend, this time the 1-meter, with Makikallio finishing second for the second consecutive day. Warren McElroy also competed in the men's 1-meter, finishing eighth.
 
Four Sun Devil women's divers advanced to the 3-meter finals, with Kaellgren earning her second second-place finish of the weekend, followed closely behind by Mara Aiacoboae in third. Sarah Bathe finished fifth while Rebecca Deacon finished ninth.
