The Arizona State men's basketball team defeated Oregon State 81-68 in Corvallis in a game that featured only two lead changes and the Sun Devils leading for 34:33. The Sun Devils never looked back after they went on a 14-0 run early that put them ahead of the Beavers 20-12 with 10:08 to play.
Arizona State was led in the scoring department from Torian Graham who tallied 21 points and heated up behind the three point arc hitting four. Guard Shannon Evans II also had a solid outing, scoring 21 points and adding five rebounds in 38 minutes. Evans II solid outing marks his eighth 20-point game of the season and 17th of his career.
The Sun Devils grabbed their biggest lead of the game (20) with 5:02 left in the game after Oregon State cut it to nine. The Beavers shot just 23-of-58 (.397) for the game.
Junior Tra Holder did it all for Arizona State on the road. The guard recorded 19 points and led the team in rebounds (six) and assists (five).
Kodi Justice scored 13 points in 29 minutes including three triples in his scoring effort. Justice also grabbed four rebounds.
Arizona State limited its turnovers to eight for the game, while capitalizing on 32 points off 18 Oregon State turnovers. The Sun Devils also came away with 11 steals in the winning effort that tied a season high (11 vs. Central Arkansas). For the weekend ASU had just 14 turnovers as it had just six at Oregon on Thursday.
