CORVALLIS, Ore.—The Arizona State volleyball team (9-14, 2-9 Pac-12) bounced back from a first-set loss to take down Oregon State (8-14, 1-10 Pac-12) in four sets, 14-25, 25-22, 25-13, 21-25, on Friday at Gill Coliseum.

"Jasmine Koonts had a phenomenal night," head coach Stevie Mussie said. "She was really seeing the ball well on both sides of the net and we couldn't be more thrilled with the performance. Oluoma Okaro continues to be a solid performer for us, playing error-free for most of the night with 10 kills on .474 attacking."

Sophomore Jasmine Koonts led the Sun Devils with career highs in both kills and blocks with 12 and eight, respectively. Freshman Ivana Jeremic added 11 kills while junior Oluoma Okaro added 10 on 19 swings for a .474 hitting percentage. Okaro was error-free for a majority of the match.

Senior Maya McClendon finished the night with six kills, and is four away from the 1000th in her career. Prior to McClendon's tenure at ASU, she racked up 874 kills.

Freshman setter Nicole Peterson also finished with a pair of career highs, 32 assists and 11 digs, for the first double-double of her career.

"Nicole Peterson's tough serve was a major factor to our turnaround in the second set," Mussie said. "She had a great night playing in front of her family in her home state."

Junior Halle Harker finished with 18 digs and moves to No. 9 all-time at ASU with 1,261 in her career. The No. 8 mark belongs to Leanne Schuster (1991-94) with 1,284 digs.

"We know we have some things to work on," Mussie said. "Especially with the way we played in the first set, but we're going to get to Eugene tonight, get some good rest on Saturday, and get ready for a rematch against a tough Oregon team."

OSU's Mary-Kate Marshall led the Beavers with 17 kills and hit .308 on the night. Sam Rouleau finished with 19 assists and 10 digs.

The #RoadWarriors are back in action on Sunday at 11 a.m. PT at Oregon in Eugene. The match will air on the Pac-12 Network.
