The Arizona State men's golf team will compete Oct. 10-11 at  The Alister MacKenzie Invitational. The tournament is held in Fairfax, Calif.,  at the Par-71 Meadow Club (6,734 yards) with 36 holes to be played Monday followed by 18 on Tuesday.
 
In 2015, California won the Alister MacKenzie invitational for an eighth straight season.  Arizona State tied for second, recording 11-under 273, finishing 33-under 819 (277-269-273). Jon Rahm tied for second with a 16-under 197 (68-63-66). Current Sun Devil senior Jared duToit shot 10-under (67-68-68) earning him a tie for eighth place individually.
 

For his 21st b-day @tobbeeden played tough and qualified to go to the Alister Mackenzie Inv. In Monday and Tuesday at the Meadow Club.

The Sun Devils have history on this course, winning its eighth Pac-10 championship in 2008 after defeating USC in a one-hole playoff. In 2014, Sun Devil Max Rottluff won the Alister MacKenzie Invitational carding a 9-under 204 (68-66-70).

LAST TIME OUT
Senior Ki Taek Lee posted the best finish of his 24-tournament Sun Devil career at the Olympia Fields Country Club/Fighting Illini Invitational to lead the Sun Devil men's golf team in its season opener Sept. 16-18. Lee tied for second and was the only player in the 78-player field to go 4-under on the par-3 holes. He posted 13 birdies, tied for second-most in the field, and shot a 1-under 209 (67-73-69). ASU went 302-289-291 at the 11th annual event, held at the par-70/7,353-yard course in Olympia Fields, Ill., to tie for 11th.
