TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University has signed 18 student-athletes who will continue their athletic and academic pursuits with the Sun Devil Football Program, as announced by head coach Todd Graham.
The class consists of 10 freshmen, one sophomore and seven juniors. Seven of those student-athletes were mid-year signees already on campus that will participate in spring practice.
ASU’s 2016 Class Highlights:
- Seven of the 10 high school signees were rated in the top-25 in their category by at least one recruiting service
- Eleven signees were rated with four stars or higher by at least one recruiting service
- Seven of the eight junior college transfers are ranked in the top 5 at their position and all eight are ranked in the top 10
- Seven of the junior college transfers are ranked in the top 100 overall JUCO players in the nation
- The eight-member junior college signing class is unanimously rated as the No. 1 JUCO class in the country
- Eight players overall rated in the top two at their position nationally (high school or JUCO)
- There are 11 home states represented among the 18 signees
- Four high school signees ranked among the nation’s top-300 overall prospects
- Two junior college transfers rated the top national prospect at their position
