History was made when junior defenseman Connor Schmidt opened the scoring with an unassisted goal just over seven and a half minutes into the game. Freshman forward Jack Rowe took the honors on the next goal then it became the Jordan Masters show.

The freshman forward scored the next two goals en route to taking home the game's first star. Freshman defenseman Joey Raats was the second star with three assists and Schmidt was the third star, adding an assist and tying for the team lead with a +3 rating.
