TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State wrestling team wrapped the annual Maroon & Gold Intersquad with 10 bouts and a freestyle exhibition on Friday night at the Riches Wrestling Complex.
Starting off the night was the 197-pound rematch between redshirt senior Josh DaSilveira and junior Wes Moore. After falling by pin in the morning session, DaSilveira picked up a 3-1 decision over Moore to even the score at one bout apiece. In the tiebreaker bout, DaSilveira took a 4-0 lead before Moore withdrew due to injury.
At 149 pounds, senior Matt Kraus picked up a 5-0 shutout decision win over freshman Nikko Villarreal, while freshman Zach Smith defeated redshirt freshman Anthony Anderson in a close, 7-5 decision at 174 pounds.
Sophomore Robbie Mathers picked up a 7-1 decision win over redshirt freshman Koby Reyes at 141 pounds, while redshirt freshman Mikel Perales edged out freshman Josh Kramer, 3-1, with a takedown as time expired in overtime.
At 133 pounds, junior Dalton Brady picked up a 13-5 major decision over senior Cord Coronado, while freshman Josh Shields took down redshirt sophomore Oliver Pierce in a 6-4 decision at 165 pounds.
In the heavyweight bout, freshman Tanner Hall edged out sixth-year senior Chace Eskam in a 3-1 decision.

The Sun Devils will open the 2015-16 season at the West Virginia Duals on Sunday, Nov. 8 in Morgantown, W.Va.
