VALENTINE, NE. -- Coming off a third-place finish at Olympia Fields, the Arizona State men’s golf team is slated to compete in this week’s Jackrabbit/South Dakota State Invitational Sep. 26-28, set at the par-72, 7,875-yard Dunes course at Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb.
The Sun Devils are one of 15 teams competing in the 3-day, 54-hole event. First round action begins Sep. 26 with a 7:00 a.m. MST shotgun start. Live scoring of the event will be provided at Golfstat.com.

Senior Sun Devil swinger Alberto Sanchez impressed in last week’s Olympia Fields Invitational posting a 3-day total, 3-under par 207, good enough for a third-place finish. Sanchez’s third-place finish marks his best finish as a Sun Devil as well as the senior’s second career top-5 finish.

World No. 1 Amateur Jon Rahm also made his mark in the event recording his 22nd top-10 finish as a Sun Devil. The senior posted a three-day 15-over par 855 (285-288-282), earning him a ninth-place finish.
Collectively Arizona State carded a three-day 15-over par 855 (285-288-282) propelling Tim Mickelson’s squad to a third-place finish.

The Sun Devils will be without their No. 2 Max Rottluff this week, as the senior is currently competing in the Porsche European Open in Bad Griesbach, Germany. The Dusseldorf, Germany native is two-over par after one round of play.
