WOLCOTT, Colo. – In Round 2 of the Golfweek Conference Challenge, the lady Sun Devils distanced themselves from the top of the leaderboard, but only fell one spot in the tournament as a team.
“Today was a bit of a struggle for the Sun Devils,” said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. “We made some critical course management mistakes. But I know this team is tough and resilient, and we will come back tomorrow and finish strong.”
The Devils shot a combined 17-over 305 on day two at the par-72, 6,261-yard Red Sky Golf Club, tacking on six more shots than their first round and sitting in a tie for 5th with the University of Memphis at 28-over 604.
