GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Sun Devil Athletics Caravan kicks off its tour in the West Valley for Sun Devil fans in Glendale, Ariz., with appearances from Ray Anderson, Vice President for University Athletics and Athletics Director, Rocky Harris, Sr. Associate Athletic Director and Chief of Staff, newly announced basketball coach Bobby Hurley, cross country coach Luis Quintana, and softball coach Craig Nicholson on Friday, May 22nd.
The evening begins with the Sun Devil Meet and Greet at Macayo’s (6012 W Bell Rd.) in Glendale where ASU fans down south have a chance to meet and interact with Sun Devil coaches, administrators, and former student-athletes from 5-6:30 p.m.
The tour starts with a private pep rally event, Sparky’s Tour, at a local school in Glendale followed by a service project at St. Mary's Food Bank where Sun Devil student-athletes and coaches will give back to the community.
The second-annual Sun Devil Caravan brings the Sun Devil Athletics experience directly to the fans and allows Sun Devil Nation to connect one-on-one with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators.
